Jonathan Iskander
Physiotherapist
With a passion for helping people move better and live pain-free(ish), my journey into physiotherapy began after breaking my back at 14 and going through months of rehab. Somewhere between frustration and recovery, I realised this was something worth doing for others. Now, with over a decade of experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy across Sydney and internationally, I take a practical, no-nonsense approach to getting people better. My work blends hands-on treatment, clear communication, and progressive active movements to help get humans better. I’ve worked across a range of settings, from private practice to high-performance sport, including roles with Sydney Grammar School sport, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Sydney Convicts Rugby, and international touring performers. I’ve also spent time in Niseko, Japan, managing snowsports injuries. Currently, I serve as the Lead Physiotherapist for Sport Inclusion Australia, supporting Australian athletes with intellectual impairments and neurodivergence on the international stage. At the core of it all, the goal is simple: educate and empower, help people move, build capacity and resilience, and get you doing what you want.
